OVERVIEW

First impression? Sophisticated. This amazing timepiece from the Edifice range is equipped with Casio’s Self-Adjusting Multi-Band 6 Atomic Timekeeping Technology. With this technology, this Casio Edifice EQWM1100CG-1 will automatically synchronize with atomic clocks in the UK, Germany, US, China and Japan. This would totally eliminate the hassles of changing the time, and even for occasions like leap years or daylight saving time. On the other hand, the EQWM1100CG-1 also possesses 3D-dials with chronograph that dynamically displays elapsed time measurements to within 1/1000th of a second. Together with its Tough Solar Power and full auto-calendar (until the year 2099), this is really a definition of maintenance-free  timepiece.

Other features of this watch include 100m water resistance, Neo-brite luminous hands and markers, daily alarms, low battery warnings, power saving function, and an approximate battery life of 5 months on full charge (without further exposure to light).

BOTTOM LINE

If you are looking for a watch that is sophisticated and one that will take care of itself, this is a watch worth considering. However, the watch will need some manual setup before you wear it for the first time, and this will require you to read through the lengthy owner’s manual and things may not be very intuitive. If you are prepared to do the work, then this watch will take care of you for a very, very long time.
